Write your no-show policy in two minutes.
Telling regulars “there are rules now” feels like picking a fight. So here are the words. Four questions, three messages to copy.
Your policy
Life happens — if you need to move or cancel your appointment, just let me know at least 24 hours ahead. That gives me time to offer the spot to someone else, which genuinely helps. Repeated no-shows may need a deposit to book again.
Telling your regulars
Hey [Name]! Quick heads up — nothing changes for you, you're always good. I've had a run of last-minute cancellations lately, so I'm asking for 24 hours notice if you need to move your appointment. It just means I can offer the spot to someone else instead of losing the time. Thanks for always being on top of it — appreciate you. — [shop]

A policy stops some of them. It doesn’t bring them back.
Mark the no-show and they get a text with a rebook link. They pick a new time, tap Confirm, and they’re back on the books.
