Privacy Policy

Effective July 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Morningside (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our booking and appointment-reminder service (the “Service”). It applies to service businesses that use Morningside(“Providers”) and to their customers who book appointments (“Customers”).

Information we collect

  • Provider account information: name, business name, email address, phone number, and login credentials.
  • Customer booking information: name, mobile phone number, the service booked, appointment time, and SMS consent status.
  • Usage information: basic technical data (such as log and device information) needed to operate and secure the Service.

How we use information

  • To provide the Service: create booking pages, record appointments, and manage Provider accounts.
  • To send appointment-related text messages — confirmations, reminders, and no-show recovery messages with a rebook link.
  • To operate, secure, support, and improve the Service.

SMS / mobile information

We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information collected for the purpose of sending appointment text messages is used only to deliver those messages and is not shared for any unrelated purpose.

A Customer’s phone number is collected only after the Customer opts in by checking the SMS consent box when booking. Customers can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Text HELP or email us for help.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us operate the Service, and only as needed to do so:

  • SMS delivery — to transmit appointment text messages through our telecommunications provider.
  • Hosting & database — to store account and booking data securely.
  • Payment processing — to handle Provider subscription billing (Customers’ booking data is not used for this).

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or security of Morningside, our users, or the public.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Providers may request deletion of their account data, and we will honor opt-out requests for messaging.

Security

We use administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls and row-level data isolation, to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to limit access to it.

Your choices & rights

  • Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP.
  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information by contacting us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above.
