SMS Opt-In & Consent

Appointment messaging for Morningside booking pages

Morningside provides local service businesses (“Providers” — barbers, stylists, nail techs, tattoo artists, groomers, trainers) with a booking page and automated appointment text messages. This page describes how a customer opts in to those texts, what we send, and how to stop. All messages are transactional — there is no marketing, and message data is never sold or shared.

How customers opt in

Consent is collected on the Provider’s public booking page, at the moment a customer books an appointment. The customer enters their own mobile number and checks a box that is not pre-checked. The booking cannot be submitted unless the box is checked (enforced both in the browser and on the server). The checkbox reads:

“Text me about this appointment (confirmation, reminders, and a rebook link if it opens up). Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP anytime.”

You can see this checkbox on any live Morningside booking page — for example a participating shop at https://mside.co/tattoosbyliev. Only the business’s own customers who complete this step receive texts; Morningside never purchases or uploads phone numbers.

What we send

  • Booking confirmation — sent once, right after the customer books.
  • Appointment reminders — before the appointment.
  • Rebook link — if the customer’s slot opens back up (a cancel or no-show), a one-time link to grab a new time.

Message frequency depends on the customer’s own bookings — typically only a handful of messages per appointment. Message and data rates may apply.

How to opt out or get help

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe — no more texts will be sent from that business. Reply HELP for help, or CANCEL to cancel an upcoming appointment. You can also email support@mside.co.

Privacy

Mobile opt-in data and phone numbers are not sold or shared with third parties, and are used only to send the appointment messages described above. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for full details.
